The Blue Moon Studio Story
Founded in a garage in the 1990s, Blue Moon Beads started from humble beginnings.
Since then, we've grown into a powerhouse in the jewelry-making industry, providing beads, charms, and jewelry-making components to retailers worldwide. In 2017, we rebranded and became Blue Moon Studio to reflect a wider range of products, including DIY “No Nails Needed” wall décor. In 2020, we launched UV ResinCraft, with an innovative way to customize and craft jewelry. We are passionate about sharing jewelry crafting and DIY home décor with the world, inspiring the maker community with forward-thinking ideas.

Where are your products sold?
Our products are sold at Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Joann Stores and Walmart nationwide under the Blue Moon Studio and Blue Moon Beads brands. We also make products specifically for our retailers using their own store brands.
Do you sell wholesale? / Can I buy large quantities from you?
Unfortunately, we are not set up for wholesale distribution and currently only service large retail accounts in their stores and online, along with our own online sales on Amazon.
Where are your products made?
Our products are primarily all designed in the USA and manufactured in China.
What is your metal made from / Is it hypo-allergenic / Lead-free / Nickel-free?
We use different metal compositions depending on the function of the item. Most items are brass, iron, or zinc alloy. We follow all U.S. standards for metal composition, including heavy metal testing and Prop 65 / lead testing.
Will your metals tarnish?
All metal does tarnish over time, depending on contact with lotions or perfume, the wearer's own body chemistry and storage conditions. Keep your jewelry dry and store in an airtight place as exposure to air can accelerate the tarnishing process.
